What it took

• Flooding a real kitchen, with water pouring from under the sink, would have cost enough to kill the idea. Here the kitchen floods on camera, and the creative got bigger than the budget.
• The text on his phone is accurate, taken from Farrell's own website, and it stays that way as his wet finger touches the glass.
• One technician and one homeowner hold from start to finish, with the right logo on the shirt and the van and the right phone number, so it plays as one true story.
